[ "Be Unique!" Archives]

• • The "Be Unique" category for the week of November 18 - November 22, 2002:

Name a solo artist or group with at least one member who died in a motor vehicle or aircraft accident, who recorded at least one Top 40, 1955-85 charting song while alive.

Uniqueness is determined by artist or group name. Of all unique submissions, the UNIQUE submitted artist or group whose best charting song had the highest chart position (closest to #1) receives a bonus point. In case of a tie, the song that was on the Top 40 Billboard charts for the longest time will receive the bonus.
