[ "Be Unique!" Archives]

• • The "Be Unique" category for the week of March 9-14, 2003:

Name a Top 40, 1955-1985 charting song of which the recording was produced by Phil Spector.

Uniqueness is determined by song title. Of all unique submissions, the highest charting song (closest to #1) receives the bonus point. If the tie is still not broken then the song that was on the Top 40 Billboard charts for the longest time will receive the bonus.

Ed. note: Some submissions were questionable, that is, the song may have been listed as produced by Spector in one reference but not another. As long as one supporting reference was reputable, the answer was accepted. Therefore, inclusion of a song on the list below is not confirmation that it was absolutely, cross-my-heart-hope-to-die-stick-a-needle-in-my-eye definitely produced by Phil Spector. We're just playing for fun, folks!
